Moscow shadow theare was founded in 1944, though its origin can be dated by 1934.
Skipping some technical details and definitions, the idea of the shadow theater show can be called a black-and-white live cartoon. Spectators watch exciting and fascinating actions of a real drama or comedy perfomed by clear fragile silhouettes on a highlighted canvas. Nowadays authors often use the synthesis of genres, combining the actions of shadows at the back of the stage and puppets with human actors in foreground.
Moscow shadow theater is equipped with special chairs- transformers which allow changing the angle and the height of your place. Due to this function all the viewers in the hall can perfectly see the stage.
