Victory Day fireworks in Moscow

 

A massive fireworks display will mark the 70th anniversary of victory in World War II, in Moscow on Saturday night. Around 70 firework stations will be placed in 16 locations in Moscow including Poklonnaya Hill, Luzhniki Stadium, and the Izmailovo and Kuzminki parks.

An electronic start system will be used in order to create a detailed panoramic picture in the sky. Russian Army units will also fire 30 salvos from artillery pieces, and KAMAZ installations will fire 10,000 shots. In the meantime powerful searchlights will illuminate the sky.
