Emmanuel Radnitsky renowned as Man Ray – an American avant-garde portrait photographer, whose works have had a profound impact on avant-garde art of the 20th century. And for the first time the exhibition of the great painter and photographer is being held in Russia in the Pushkin Museum.
He as the author of experimental surrealist photos and movies, Dadaist installations was one of the most fashionable and commercially popular photographer of his time. His photos have graced Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and Vanity Fair. And no wonder that he took photographs of such famous persons as Jean Cocteau. Paul Eluard, Pablo Picasso, Lee Miller, Coco Chanel, Catherine Deneuve.
Now we have a chance to see his works in the framework of the exhibition “Man Ray. The Portraits”
