"Bagration" bridge

"Bargation" bridge is the first trade and footbridge of the capital linking Taras Shevchenko and Krasnopresnenskaya embankments and a part of constructed complex "Moscow-City".
Thebridge was built in 1997for Moscow 850thanniversary by theproject of a distinguished Russian architect B.I. Tkhor. The bridge was named after prince P.I. Bagration, a Russian commander, the hero of Borodino battle.
The bridge is a structure made of glass and concrete matching the style of rapidly growing business center at Krasnopresnenskaya naberezhnaya. Technical characteristics of the structure: length-217 m, width — 16 m, height above river level — 14 m.
