Painted Transformer Vault «Cosmos»

There are many painted transformer vaults in the streets of Moscow. This one is located near Varshavskaya metro station. Two Russian dogs Belka ("squirrel") and Strelka ("arrow") spent a day in space in 1960 and were the first Earth-born creatures to go into orbit and return alive. The dogs astronauts are depicted in this graffiti with the famous Russian cosmonaut Gagarin.

Address: 6a, Chongarsky Blvd.
