On the territory of the national park "Losiny Ostrov", there are some abandoned storehouses. On their walls you can find very interesting graffiti. The author is a young artist Pavel 183.
Pavel about himself:
"Except street art, I have no other activities. Sometimes I take orders for interior design and wall painting. I don't use knowledge that I got at the institute. My profession is a communicative designer. So I must have worked with advertisement, but at some point I realized how considerably the real life differs from a "showcase". And I decided to have nothing with advertising. I'm not a designer. In some way, this definition is something abusive for me, because a designer creates what he is said to do, and an artist - what comes from the inside."
One of the most famous works of Pavel is a graffiti and installation called "Alenka". "Alenka" is the favorite milk chocolate of several generations in Russia (in production since 1966). What Pavel says about the process of its creation:
"Several years ago I made a movie called "The fairy tale about Alenka 2005", where the chocolate "Alenka" was a kind of an embodiment of a modern child. Every person has to learn how to sell himself/herself since childhood due to the style of modern life. All of us, like "Alenka", sell ourselves against our will. However, Alenka, in my opinion, is the purest creature on the world, always naive and unselfish. Once I was walking and saw several concrete slabs at a construction project. I decided to add some positive impact to it. Besides, if you have already seen my film, you must remember that one of its characters kills himself. After some reflections, I decided to make an alternative end of it. At least, by this video clip... Life is going on and, may be, somebody will find a person as pure as Alenka."
On the video you can see how the graffiti "Alenka" was created:
