One of the main sights of Moscow region is, undoubtedly, the only museum of New Year's tree decorations in Russia. It is located in an old and a very nice town of Moscow region - Klin.
The museum includes 12 exhibitions halls and two mini-studios for creating New Year's toys, where you can observe the most interesting technological processes - blowing and painting. At master classes, children and adults can paint a real glass ball and take it home. A wonderful guide will lead you through all 12 rooms and, like a magician, will help you to plunge in the fairy-tale world of New Year's holiday.
At the museum you will see:
- the weaver's loom, which was used for making different fabric decorations;
- Soviet waddings "Santa Claus", snowmen and other Soviet toys;
- a huge firtree, where visitors make their wishes;
- New Year's tree decorations made by children from materials, which were just at hand! A golden firtree from macaroni, for example;
- forms, which were used to anneal heated glass and make a blank for a toy;
- and many other interesting things.
This place will make you feel like a small child again. It is so wonderful especially in the mordern bustling life.
