We'd like to tell you about two amazing places in Pokrovka street. They can be called neither clubs nor cafes, but something like a free space for relaxation, communication, watching movies, table games, and reading. The "spaces" are called "The house on the tree" and "The Clock Dial", located two minutes on foot from each other. At first, we'll tell you about "The house on the tree". The working process of "The house on the tree" is organized according to the principle of "free donations": you can come there and drink some tea or cafe with jam and biscuits for free. And you will cook it yourself, heating up the kettle and putting sweets on the plate. Besides, you can warm up any products, which you'll bring there.

Tea, cafe, sugar and lemon are free of charge. No orders, bills or tips. Every visitor can just put a coin into the suitcase of money. It can be any sum of money that a visitor would like to donate for the time spent there.

There is an easel at the entrance with a hat on the top of it and a list of paper with the following sign: "Friends! It's not a club or a cafe. It's a house and a studio, which we rent with you. Please, don't forget to pitch in and help us to save the place."

"The house on the tree" is a very nice and cosy place. It's a rather small room with sofas, shelves with books, tables and several visitors reading books, sitting at their laptops, learning something or playing table games. You should come and enjoy your time there, it's so wonderful!

Also, they often arrange movie displays and evenings of literary reading there.

The other unusual fact about the place is that there are no identifying signs near it. To get there, you should pass the arch of the house number 25 in Pokrovka street (the arch is near the cafe "Shokoladnitsa") and get up the circular stairs on the left side. Then you will see a door without any signs. At first, it is not clear what is inside, but if you open the door, you will find yourself in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Also, an unusual cat with eyes of different colors lives there :-)
