Until December 25, you have a unique opportunity to attend an interesting and unusual exhibition called «20 years without the USSR» in the photo center on Gogol Boulevard. The exhibit was organized by the famous social movement "The essence of Time".
On August 21, 2011, about 3000 members of the movement - ordinary people from different corners of the former USSR - went into the streets to observe changes, which have taken place in the country since breakup of the USSR, and take some photos on this theme.
It was very difficult for the organizers to pick out pictures for the exhibit, as they had to choose from more than 30,000 shots. The exhibit represents views of very different people, not professional photographers, on the losses and attainments in the country for the past 20 years. The photos demonstrate views of former citizens of the USSR - citizens of different states now - on their country, which was great and united only 20 years ago.
Working hours of the photo center: from 10 a.m. until 19 p.m. daily except Monday.
Address: 8, Gogol Boulevard, Moscow. Metro station Kropotkinskaya (way out to Gogol boulevard).
