The club «Masterskaya»

There are many musical clubs in Moscow, where art directors and designers skilfully combine different styles in the interior, music repertoire and menu. The club "Masterskaya" ("art studio" in English) is located in the very heart of Moscow, not far from the shop "Child's World", and in the same building with the National Emergency Management Center. Despite such contradictive "neighbors", the club is a place with wonderful atmosphere. Here you can drink some flavoured mulled wine there, quietly talking with your friends or colleagues, without fear of being drowned in noise.

Later at night you can drink something simpler or stronger, enjoying music in the hall for live concerts. The small space of the hall makes the visitors closer to the musicians and obliterates any distinctions and uneasiness... The public of such places usually consists of creative youth, students and people of middle age.

But there is a special place at the club, where I advise everybody to drop in, in order to get some absolutely new emotions. It is a theatrical hall - the place of interesting performances, creative meetings, poetic and music evenings. In the small dark hall, there are several rows of benches and a tiny stage with the piano. The club creates its own music masterpieces, one of which is a concert of a young pianist, Vadim Kholodenko, Moscow State Conservatory graduate. Vadim plays wonderful music by Metner and Rachmaninoff as well as his own improvisations based on Rachmaninoff's compostitions. You will be impressed by his skill and talent. It's worth to come to the club even just to listen his music.
