A new place, called Anticafe "Babochki" ("Butterflies" in English), has recently opened in Moscow. It is a new and unusual type of public places, which doesn't support the rules and standards accepted by usual cafes and restaurants. Everything is free of charge except time and you can come here to take rest or work. There is enough room for a lonely tourist, who happened to be nearby, a loving couple, who decided to watch a movie together, a group of students or office workers - for everybody looking for warmth and comfort in that crazy tempo of life in the big city.
At the anticafe you can drink some tea or coffee with cookies. Everything is absolutely free of charge in any amount. Besides, you can bring your food here. Visitors pay only for the time spent here according to the following rates: 1,5 rubles per one minute or 90 rubles per one hour.
At the anticafe "Babochki", there is always atmosphere of art, original ideas and fresh thoughts. Here you can visit seminars, workshops and lectures dedicated to the most different subjects: from skills of presentation to the rules of communication with opposite sex. Besides, it's possible to take part in masterclasses about photographing, video filming and other areas of modern art.
"Babochki" is a social-oriented project, that is why it's not allowed to smoke and drink alcohol here.
For the best comfort the place is separated in several zones:
The creators of "Babochki" defined a philosophical conception of the anticafe in one phrase: "It is time to change". And they call everybody to change: "We are open to any new experience, and it moves us forward".
