In the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia you can visit an interesting exhibition "Chocolate and Cocoa" until the end of the year. At the exhibit you will know about the whole history of chocolate and cacao - from ancient Mayans, who first realized the value of cacao beans and began to use them in cooking, to nowadays. You will be offered to taste four chocolate drinks, cooked according to different historical recipes. Also, you will see the process of making chocolate.
The museum occupies two rooms.
Working hours of the exhibit: on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00 until 18.00 on Thursday and Saturday from 11.00 until 19.00 on Sunday from 11.00 until 19.00 Monday is a day off.
The exhibition will continue until January 15, 2012.
Entrance fee: 400 rubles for adults, 200 rubles for children.
