In Kubinka town, 64 kilometers west from Moscow, there is one of the biggest museums of armoured fighting vehicles in the world. It presents a unique collection of armoured vehicles starting from World War I first constructions to modern battle tanks. At the museum you will see a great amount of unique tanks, including the famous German super-heavy tank called the Panzer VIII Maus, Troyanov tank and a Karl-Gerät alongside single production prototypes from the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany.
A part of the tanks is located in front of the museum under the open sky, but the majority of them is inside.
I was glad to see many foreigners at the museum. The only factor that made me upset a little bit was the light. All the rooms of the museum are so dark that it was very hard to take photos.
On the territory of the museum you can find a chapel and a monument to tankmen who fell in one of the battles in the Second World War.
Also, you will have an opportunity to buy a souvenir at the museum: a decorative magnet, cups, stickers with tanks, different small tank models, etc.
I do recommend you to attend this unique place...
