There is a plaque on the wall of a school building in Baumanskaya Street 40. The plaque reads: "Here was the house in which on May 26 (June 6) 1799 Pushkin was born".
Now in the school there is a Pushkin Museum. But there is a discrepancy in the text since the house where Pushkin was born, was not at the site of the school. The fact is that formally Skvortsov bought the house only in July 1799 (ie, a month after the birth of Pushkin).
