Last October in Neskuchnii Garden a basement disc of some sculpture was found. The specialists distinguished in the fragments a part of the foot and folds of clothing. The fragment was found in the part of the park where in the XVIII century was a manor house of N. Trubeckoy.
The manor house was built by architect D. Ukhtomskoy. According to his plan the park of the estate was adorned with eighteen sculptures, but the fragment didn’t match with any of them. Soon the experts discovered some similarity of the fragment with sculptures in Pavlovsk park Saint-Petersburg. So the specialists managed to recreate the stone girl depicted in Alexander Golovin’s canvas - "Autumn".
Now you can see the sculpture in Neskuchnii garden, non far from the entrance in Leninsky avenue.
