The Contemporary museum of calligraphy is the first Russian museum displaying calligraphy art pieces from 41 countries. It was officially opened on August 14, 2008. The Mission of the museum is to keep the unique art of calligraphy alive for the future generations (- read more about the museum in Wikipedia).
