It's the only biological museum in Russia, dedicated to the evolution of animals, and one of the biggest museums of natural science in Europe. It's definitely worth to visit. The main exposition is very interesting and perfectly created. You should pay attention to the exhibition halls with several terrariums, where live different kinds of bugs, crickets and cockroaches, a showing room, where you can watch 3D scientific films, a small digital planetarium and a wonderful multimedia interactive exposition "Pass the path of evolution".

The main exposition is dedicated to the biodiversity on the planet, natural selection, variability, heredity and formation of the theory of evolution. You will find accessible and comprehensive information about every museum piece. You should see the collection of albinos and aberrating forms.

The museum is meant for people of all ages.

On every floor of it, there are computers with access to the Internet and big screens, at which you can sit, take rest and watch some popular science films about wildlife.

Also, there are wonderful installations at every stuffed bird. If you press the button, you will hear the song of the bird.

The museum works from 10 a.m. to 18 p.m. (11 a.m. - 19 p.m. on Tuesday) every day except Monday and the last Friday of each month.
