Chronicles of the Russian Estates

The exhibition Picturesque Chronicles of the Russian Estates organised by the Moscow State Integrated Museum Reserve will feature works of the late 18th-early 20th centuries from the Tver Region estates. The exhibition will run on the third floor of the Nikolai Durasov Palace in Lyublino.

The display will also include exhibits from the Moscow State Integrated Museum Reserve collection, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the Arkhangelskoye and Ostankino estate museums.

The centrepiece of the exhibition is rare editions on estate management issues from the libraries of Princes Golitsyn and Yusupov (Arkhangelskoye Estate Museum), seven manuscript albums from the Pushkin Museum’s collection, and also old amateur photographs with scenes from estate life and entertainment of the late 19th-early 20th centuries. Many items will be on display for the first time. This will be the fifth exhibition of the cycle Culture and Traditions of Moscow Estates.

The exhibition will be open every day, except Monday. Tickets are available at the museum’s ticket office and also online at mgomz.ru.
