  On 5 and 6 September in the framework of the city Day of Moscow 2015 at Central venues in the capital will be festive activities organized by the Department of culture of Moscow. This year the main theme of festive events will be "Moscow triumphal".  

The schedule for the celebration of the MOSCOW CITY DAY 2015:

On 3 September at 20:30 on the eve of the birthday of the capital on the square in front of the theater will be organized an evening concert of classical music "Eternal city eternal music", which will feature the participation of popular artists and performers: group "Quattro", Emin, Tamara Gverdtsiteli and others.

September 5 at 10:00 at red square will take place the opening ceremony of the Moscow city Day 2015. Large-scale festive presentation will be made in the style of a retrospective, highlighting the main events in the life of the capital and the whole of Russia, Moscow — the city-hero. Simultaneously with the opening ceremony on Tverskaya street will be a procession of bands participating in the festival "Spasskaya tower" in support of the Kremlin regiment and riders children's riding school. At 13.00 at a time to start the festive grounds.

On Pushkin square will host the Festival of the Moscow press. All day Muscovites will be able to issue preferential subscription for periodicals and listen to festive concert organized by the Union of journalists of Moscow.

Tsvetnoy Boulevard one day will turn into a "Boulevard Baby": there will be organized master-classes, dance programs and free pony rides.

On Neglinnaya street family will be held the international festival of street art and creativity "Bright people", which will bring together the best cultural and educational projects, talented teachers and the most prominent representatives of creative professions from Russia and Europe.

Creative Moscow

Both days of the celebration of the 5th and 6th of September — the Boulevard ring will be the center of activities under the auspices of "Creative Moscow". Active recreation program youth will be held on Pokrovsky ("Student") Boulevard, musical performances on Sretensky and Chistoprudny boulevards, as well as an open-air mass on Petrovsky ("Art"). Gogolevsky Boulevard will turn into a "Literary": here are the famous poets and writers. Nikitskaya unfold "Moscow courtyard" with a concert venue. Strastnoy Boulevard, you will see fragments of performances of the Moscow theaters. Rozhdestvensky Boulevard decorate an art object in the form of a triumphal arch, which at night will be illuminated so that everyone will be able to make fabulous photos. Take a look at Moscow through the eyes of an engineer and architect will be at the Yauza Boulevard, where you will learn to distinguish the modern from the Baroque and talk about different architectural styles. Here for kids will be a children's sandbox. Tverskoy Boulevard will become the center of attraction active audience through dance master classes.

On Triumfalnaya square will host readings from well-known and young actors of Moscow theaters, theatre schools and Houses of culture. There will be organized theatrical performances, poetry contests, improvisation and performances by musical groups.

Both the weekend in celebration of the city Day on the Patriarchal ponds and Poklonnaya hill will go rich concert program with participation of talented Russian and foreign musicians.

On Bolotnaya square, traditionally held a two-day festival "Metro on stage" with the support of the newspaper "Metro". The festival developed a wide leisure, educational and game software in the square near the monument to Ilya Repin and on the ground near Repin fountain. September 5 will be the final competition of musicians "Metro on stage". Guests of the concert will be the "beast" and a joint project by Nikita Presnyakov and Multiverse. September 6, Muscovites will hear a musical program, consisting of Russian and foreign hits.

Free museums

On city Day, Muscovites and visitors can get acquainted with the history of Moscow, for free by visiting the museums and excursions. All weekend in Moscow will be organized free author visits from Moscow museums, libraries, parks, country estates and town tour Desk of the Museum of Moscow.

The culmination of the festival will be a one-time volley of fireworks in all districts of Moscow, which will begin at 22:30 and will last for a few minutes.

Sunday 6 September on Tsvetnoy Boulevard festival charities "Good", Moscow. Muscovites will be able to participate in a special program, including a charity run, a concert and market apparel and accessories. All proceeds and donations will be donated to charity Moscow.

The Metropolitan parks will host performances of orchestras-participants of the international military music festival "Spasskaya tower".

On Pushkin square will be held the evening concert program "Moscow Broadway", uniting the world's best productions of musicals.

Will complete the celebration of the city Day of Moscow 2015 exhibition "Moscow triumphal", which runs until September 13 and will bring together several thematic exhibitions on the main boulevards of the city: Chistoprudny, Gogol, Christmas, a Passionate and Arbat.
