Exposition "Railways of Russia: Through time and distances"

On 7 August in Pavilion No. 59 (Grain) at the VDNH the exhibition called "Railways of Russia: Through time and distances" will open.

The exposition is devoted to the history of railway transport development and current projects of Russian Railways OJSC. Free access will be provided to all visitors of the VDNH until 9 October. The organizers of the exposition are VDNH and Business Dialog LLC. The general partner - Russian Railways OJSC.

For the first time in the Russian history of railways, models of rolling-stock, dynamic simulators, uniforms from different historical periods, as well as interior items, photos and documents telling about the most vivid and interesting pages of the history of the establishment and development of Russian railway transport will be presented in one exposition. Besides this, on a street platform between Pavilion No. 64 (Optics) and the food-court, a special children's playground will be arranged with a slide in the shape of a small steam locomotive and areas for taking pictures.
